What are Platts North Asian Corn Assessments?

Platts began assessing Corn CFR North East Asia in August 2016 to reflect the daily value of feed corn imported into South Korea. The price reflects corn imported from the most competitive origin worldwide, on any given day. The South Korea corn purchase price is widely used as a reference price for purchases done by neighboring countries in Asia such as Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam.
